About This Special Issue
Traffic and performance study has been made in performance modeling and evaluation of networks, towards the convergence of multi-service networks of diverging technologies. But the study faces various challenges such as effective traffic modeling and prediction, advanced QoS engineering methods compared to classical QoS solutions.
This special issue aims at providing positive, constructive answers to traffic and performance engineering questions, through the experimental and theoretical research in traffic modeling, traffic characterization, simulation, theory and methods, end-to-end QoS engineering solutions, applicable to current and future converged, heterogeneous networks.
The papers will be peer reviewed and selected on their quality and relevance to the theme of this special issue.
