About This Special Issue
Forests has important role in global CO2 emission reduction. Trees, shrubs, herbs, grasses, litter and forest soil are important pools that play significant prominence for this emission reduction. However, the carbon stored in the forest is varied due to different environmental factors. Thus, this study will investigate the major environmental factors (altitude and slope) that could have an effect on carbon stock variation.
Aims and Scope:
1. Carbon stock in trees and variation along altitudinal and slope gradient.
2. Carbon stock in shrubs and variation along altitudinal and slope gradient.
3. Carbon stock in herbs and variation along altitudinal and slope gradient.
4. Carbon stock in grasses and variation along altitudinal and slope gradient.
5. Carbon stock in organic soil and variation along altitudinal and slope gradient.
